Royal Enfield
One Million Celebration Medal
Merchandise Design
A 'Commemorative medal' design to mark a million motorcycles.
As part of my internship project at Royal Enfield, along with the CMF (color, material, finish) team, I was involved in the concept and ideation to design a medal celebrating the production of one million motorcycles. I worked on the concept from scratch, starting with sketches, early mockups, then refined the form, texture, and layout to reflect the brand's legacy.

I began by exploring different shapes, how to balance text, and imagery on small surfaces. I focused on proportions, clarity, and manufacturability from the start to ensure closest transition of the design. These sketches helped lay the foundation for what would later become the final medal.

The final design uses strong vertical pinstripe inspired by Royal Enfield's famous and iconic 'Madras pinstripe' and a silhouetted Classic 350—the brand's best-celebrated motorcycle. This brings in brand recall. Details like the traditional jali pattern were added to create depth while keeping the surface suitable for translation to real manufacturing.
The medal stands as a proud symbol of great achivement for the company.
